Give ordinary corn a delicious twist with homemade Corn Ribs!
A creative way to enjoy sweet corn, these Corn Ribs curl into fun, handheld pieces as they cook. With a buttery, savory coating and juicy kernels, they're an easy snack or side dish that makes every bite satisfying.
How to make it
01
Microwave the corn for 2.5 minutes to slightly soften. Carefully cut each cob lengthwise into quarters, creating long corn rib strips with part of the cob attached.
02
In a small saucepan, gently heat the oil with minced garlic over low heat until fragrant. Set aside a portion of the garlic oil for finishing.
03
Arrange the corn ribs on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the Magic Dust evenly over the corn, then drizzle with oil to coat before roasting.
04
Preheat the oven to 375F. Arrange the seasoned corn ribs on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for approximately 15 minutes, or until tender, lightly charred, and slightly curled.
05
Remove the corn ribs from the oven. Brush with the reserved garlic oil, then sprinkle with grated cheese and chopped parsley.
06
In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha, and chili oil. Mix until smooth and evenly incorporated.
